The Short Version
Mix one scoop into 12–16 oz of cold water, drink it, repeat as needed. That's it. The longer answer — when, how often, Day vs Night, with food or without — is what makes the difference between "I tried it" and "this changed my routine."
Day vs Night: What's Actually Different
2THIRTY ships in two formulas. Same hydration backbone, different functional layers on top.
| Day Mode | Night Mode | |
|---|---|---|
| Built for | Focus, energy, daily hydration | Pre-covery before drinks |
| Standout ingredients | B-vitamins, ginseng, vitamin C | NAC, milk thistle, L-glutathione, L-theanine |
| Caffeine | None | None |
| When to drink | Morning, mid-afternoon, pre-workout | 1-2 hours before drinking, plus one before bed |
Both flavors pour light pink. Both are zero-sugar. The difference is what they're loaded for.
How to Mix It
- Water temperature: cold water dissolves it cleanest. Room temperature works.
- Volume: 12-16 oz is the sweet spot for taste and absorption. Less = more concentrated flavor.
- Bottle, glass, shaker: all fine. No need to shake aggressively — stir or swirl for 10 seconds.
- In cocktails: yes. Mixes neatly into vodka soda, tequila soda, gin and tonic. See the cocktail guide.
When to Take It (By Use Case)
Daily hydration baseline
One Day pack with breakfast or right after waking up. This sets your electrolyte and B-vitamin floor for the day.
Pre-workout
One Day pack 30-45 minutes before training. Skip the sugar-loaded pre-workout — you get electrolytes, B12, and ginseng without the crash.
Afternoon slump
Instead of a third coffee, mix a Day pack at 2-3 PM. The B-vitamins and L-theanine cover the energy gap without disrupting sleep.
Pre-covery (going out)
One Night pack 1-2 hours before your first drink. The NAC and milk thistle need lead time to start working in the liver. Optional second Night pack before bed.
Long travel days
One pack per flight segment. Cabin air is brutally dehydrating; B-vitamins help with the fatigue.
Hot weather, festivals, sports days
Day pack every 2-3 hours of sun and activity. Don't wait until you feel thirsty.
How Many Per Day Is Reasonable
Most people land at 1-2 packs per day for daily use, with 3 packs on heavy days (workout + going out, or festival days). The formula is dosed to be a daily product, not a one-off.
You won't run into issues stacking Day and Night in the same 24 hours — they're complementary, not duplicative.
What Not to Do
- Don't mix it with hot water — heat degrades a few of the heat-sensitive vitamins
- Don't pre-mix and leave it sitting overnight — drink within a few hours of mixing
- Don't replace meals with it — it's a supplement to a real diet, not a calorie source
- Don't expect a "buzz" — there's no caffeine and no sugar; the effects are felt as steady energy, not a jolt
The Bottom Line
2THIRTY works best as a habit, not a rescue. Start with one pack a day in the morning, add a second when the day calls for it, and reach for Night mode whenever drinks are on the schedule.
