Festivals Are a Dehydration Trap
Long days in the sun, dancing for hours, limited access to clean water, and usually some alcohol mixed in. It's a perfect storm for dehydration, heat exhaustion, and terrible post-festival recovery.
The Festival Survival Kit
- 2THIRTY stick packs — they're lightweight, fit in any pocket, and mix into any water bottle
- Refillable water bottle — most festivals have refill stations
- Electrolyte-rich snacks — trail mix, bananas, pretzels
Hydration Timeline
Morning
Start your festival day with water + 2THIRTY. You're building a hydration base before the sun and activity deplete you.
During the Day
- Drink 12–16 oz of water every hour minimum
- In extreme heat, add electrolytes to every other bottle
- Don't wait until you feel thirsty — you're already behind
Evening
If drinking alcohol, alternate with water or 2THIRTY. The B12 and electrolytes combat the double dehydration of sun + alcohol.
Before Bed
One more 2THIRTY before sleeping. NAC and Milk Thistle support overnight recovery.
Signs You Need to Stop and Hydrate NOW
- Dizziness or lightheadedness
- Headache that won't go away
- Stopped sweating despite the heat
- Confusion or disorientation
If you experience these, find shade immediately, drink water, and consider seeking medical help.
